APOSTOLIC NUNCIATURE
IN KUWAIT, BAHRAIN AND QATAR
The work of the Papal Representative is first and foremost a valuable service to the Bishops, Priests, Religious and all local Catholics, who find support and protection in him, since he represents the higher authority of the Roman Pontiff, which is for the benefit of all. By a native right inherent in his own spiritual mission, fostered by a secular development of historical events, the Roman Pontiff also sends His Legates to the supreme Authorities of the States in which the Catholic Church is rooted or present in some way.
Paul VI, Sollecitudo Omnium Ecclesiarum
LET US PRAY FOR PEACE
I am very grieved by what is happening in Israel and Palestine. I pray and I am close to all those who are suffering. I renew my appeal for spaces to be opened, for humanitarian aid to continue to arrive, and for the hostages to be freed.
Pope Francis
