Celebration of the 11th anniversary of the election of Pope Francis on March 13, 2024 at the Holy Family Co-Cathedral in Kuwait

In an atmosphere of communion and fraternity, on December 7, 2023, the "Ecumenical Prayer Service for Peace in the Holy Land" was held in the Holy Family Co-Cathedral in Kuwait City, which was organized by the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia (AVONA) and by the Apostolic Nunciature.

The Church in Kuwait is set to mark the 75th anniversary of the first Catholic church built in the Gulf country dedicated to Mary, Mother of God.

Kingdom of Bahrain – Our Lady of Arabia

One year after Pope Francis´ visit to The Kingdom of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa visited the Holy Father at the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican on the afternoon of October 16, 2023; thus showing a further sign of closeness and brotherhood.
